At Long Worm, we breed Eisenia fetida — the hardworking Red Wigglers — with care and respect for nature.
Our worms are raised indoors in a temperature-controlled environment using small-batch “bucket-style” systems that ensure ideal moisture, warmth, and hygiene.
They’re fed exclusively on natural, wild-sourced materials from unpolluted areas of rural Scotland — far from roads and industry. Their diet includes fallen leaves, decomposed wood, wild grasses, clean cardboard for cellulose, and fresh fruit and vegetable scraps — nothing artificial, nothing processed.
Orders are packed every Sunday and shipped on Mondays via Royal Mail 24, ensuring your worms arrive fresh, active, and ready for work or feeding.
